The journey started with countless hours of research, selecting the right university, and ensuring I met the admission requirements.

Securing a Tier 4 student visa was another crucial step. The process involved meticulous documentation, proof of funds, and patience while waiting for approval. Receiving the visa was a moment of relief and excitement, but reality hit me when I had to pack my bags, say goodbye, and embark on a new adventure.

Culture Shock and Adaptation

Upon arrival, I quickly realized how different life in the UK was from Nigeria. The first challenge was the weather—I arrived in autumn, and the cold was shocking compared to Nigeria’s warm climate. Layering up became my new normal, and I learned to appreciate a good cup of tea.
